Privacy

This notice explains how the BBR Group website handles personal data. The website is designed to collect as little information as possible: it has no accounts, contact form, newsletter, advertising or visitor analytics.

Who to contact

Questions about privacy or requests concerning your personal data can be sent to contact@bbrgroup.org. The formal legal entity details for the website operator will be added after they have been verified and approved for publication.

Information processed when you visit

Like any website, our hosting and content-delivery providers receive technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, response status, and security or performance logs. We do not use this information to build visitor profiles.

Why it is processed

Technical data is used only to deliver the website, maintain its availability and security, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, this processing is based on the legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable corporate website or on the equivalent basis available under applicable law.

Service providers and locations

The website is hosted through Firebase App Hosting and Google Cloud in the europe-west4 region. Published text and image assets are delivered through Sanity. Google and Sanity may use their approved affiliates and subprocessors and may process data in other countries under their contractual transfer safeguards.

Retention

Application and service logs in the default Google Cloud log bucket are normally retained for 30 days. Certain required audit logs are retained for 400 days. Sanity states that its access logs are deleted or anonymised within 90 days. We do not maintain a separate visitor database.

Email enquiries

If you choose to email us, we process your address, message and any information you include so that we can respond and maintain appropriate business records. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary. Messages are retained only for as long as needed for the enquiry and applicable record-keeping obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location. Send a request to contact@bbrgroup.org; we may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the website, its providers or its data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
